I am not addicted per-se but it has allowed me to catch up with some people that I otherwise would really no nothing about.
I just think sites like that are very self serving - even more-so than LJ.
They are like big personal ads with just a touch of substance but no real info.

I wonder why I need update every hour on your "status" LOL
